Steve was born in 1971 in Cloncurry, Queensland, Australia. Steve grew up in Emerald, Queensland’s Central Highlands Area. North Rockhampton State High School was where he studied.

He continued: “I’m not here to back lemonade stands; that’s not what I’m here for.”

He was awarded the Pearcey Medal for Lifetime Achievement in 2016. In 2018, River City Labs was acquired by the Australian Computer Society. Ramasundara added that his organization is “thrilled” to have been given the chance to develop RCL further.

In 2018, Steve was named Queensland’s Chief Entrepreneur. “There’s a lot of excitement in the Central Queensland area right now,” he added. He was also chosen as the state’s leader for entrepreneurs in 2018.
